Cosmetic Gynaecology

Women may become dissatisfied with the size and appearance of their genital area, particularly after childbirth.

Concerns may include the fact that the lips or labia may protrude and feel uncomfortable with tight fitting clothing. They may also become discoloured and enlarged after childbirth. The vagina may feel loose and open.

Following childbirth there can be positional changes of the bladder or bowel leading to incontinence or difficulty in emptying the bowels. Stitches or tears may heal with scarring and cause pain and discomfort at intercourse.

Cosmetic Gynaecology can tighten, repair, reduce and restore the vagina and labia to a more satisfactory appearance. This can improve both physiological and sexual functions.
