Consultations and Treatments
Patients are most welcome to be accompanied by a relative or friend during their appointment at The Wellington Women’s Clinic if they wish. Due to the nature of some of the consultations, examinations and treatments on offer, there may be occasions when it is more appropriate to treat or consult on a private one to one basis. Any treatment recommendations or choices will be fully discussed with you and your decision respected.

Kinds of Treatment Offered by Mrs Patricia Wilson
Healthcare services and treatments offered by Mrs Wilson include private healthcare consultations, general gynaecological examinations, ultrasound and colposcopy examinations, prescribing of medicines, specialist advice on the menopause, gynaecological surgery (if indicated), fitting of contraceptive coils and administration of hormone implants.

Mrs Wilson carries out consultations, examinations and treatments in accordance with patients’ individual wishes but always subject to strict medical assessment for suitability. During the initial consultation, patients will be advised of proposed treatments, which will be fully explained prior to proceeding.

Patient Consultation Patient satisfaction surveys are carried out regularly by the clinic to seek the views and opinions of patients on the healthcare service that is offered. The survey is in the form of a questionnaire and is available for all patients to complete at any time. It is the responsibility of Mrs Wilson to collate the results of satisfaction surveys and produce an annual report on the views of the gynaecological service being provided.

This report is available for existing patients, prospective patients and a copy is sent to our regulatory body, the Care Quality Commission. Please ask the clinic administrator if you would like to read the most recent survey results.
